Braces update 2! (7 weeks)

Today's visit to the dentist was great! I finally removed the palatal expander! I am so happy to get it off! Happy but at the same time miss it. Not quite used to the extra space in my mouth. No more food stuck! Yippee!

Till date, the most painful experience was when the dentist close the brackets after changing the wire.

I am really amazed at what braces can do.
This was a comparision of the 3rd day vs yesterday.

And this below, was at 9am in the morning before I visited the dentist vs at
2pm (5hours after I changed the wire and removed the palatal expander).
It's amazing! The tooth that has never been fully exposed can now be fully seen!

So a comparison of the 3rd day vs 7weeks4days.

Sorry for all the low quality/ unglam pictures of my mouth/teeth but I only have these pictures taken with my iPhone.

Happy! :D

Went for the 1st appointment after the braces went up. It was around 1 month after.

Picture on the left is 2 months before I got braces and right is 1 month after. Face is slimmer but body's the same :x
Maybe it's the smile.

Blanco court prawn noodles

Today's post will be on my favourite prawn noodles.

Blanco Court Prawn Noodles
243/245 Beach Road #01-01
Singapore 189754
63968464
7.15am to 4pm
Closed Tuesdays

This shop is located right at the end of Haji Lane so you can pop by after shopping. They close really early (4pm) so you will never catch them for dinner.
This shop has been around since I can remember. I used to live in the row of shop houses right opposite it but the shop house has now been demolished for that majestic looking building with lost of empty grass patch around it.
The shop used to be really old school, with wooden stools and marble table. The Ngor Hiang always goes with the prawn noodles. I have been visiting this shop since I was born. Everytime my mum has a day off, she will visit this place.

What we really like about this prawn noodles is the soup base. As I am an ultimate soup lover, I always go for the soup first. I will order Prawn noodles soup with yellow noodles and then I will separately ask for another bowl of soup. My reason for doing that is because the soup tastes different when the noodles are soaked in it. I also throw in alot of chilli powder into my noodles.

My mum goes for the dry noodles because she likes the chilli.

I have recommended this Prawn noodles to many people, some really like it too but some find that it's not to their liking. So I guess it's up to the individual.
Prawn noodles with loads of chilli powder.

NEED MORE SOUP!
